We breathe in the air around us everyday. In fact, we inhale the air around us several times every second. However, most of us are unaware that due to increasing number of industries and urbanization, the air around us is becoming increasingly polluted. We are actually breathing in harmful particles and dust most of the day. These particles are too small to be seen by the naked eye, and in the long term may lead to asthma, sinus or other health problems.
Harmful particles in the air may be removed by sucking them out of the air or passing them through a micro-filter. Another way is of doing this is to use an Ionizer. Ionizers release negatively charged oxygen ions into the air. Studies have shown that appropriate amounts of ions are beneficial to humans. Besides, as dust and harmful particles are positively charged, they will be attracted to the negatively charged ions and eventually fall to the ground. This effectively removes them from the air.
